In this novel Loser the summary in my words is that Zinkoff is very polite when he gives his hat to the teacher. It was on page 10. On page 11 the teacher doesn’t know Zinkoff’s name so she asked Zinoff. “What’s your name young man?”. On page 13 Zinkoff’s and Donald’s school is John W. Satterfield Elementary School. On page 16 the students are gonna have Two thousand One hundred and Sixty of their journey of school. One more thing. On page 17 there were Twenty-six students in Miss Meeks.
In page 11 the teacher asks Zinkoff his name and after the teacher asks if he has a first name.In page 12 the teacher shows the kids the cubbies and Zinkoff is easy to find because to find by his giraffe hat.In page 13 they said the school where Zinkoff study the school is Satterfield Elementary school.In page 14 Zinkoff thinks that he heard something funny.In page 15 the teacher gave them a math problem.In page 16 the teacher said that they are going to have 2160 adventures.In page 18 Zinkoff before arriving 1st grade he had learn his letters.In page 20 when was time for recess Zinkoff was expecting recces to be more fun
On page 11-20 it talks about how zinkoff tells the teacher his real name and his real name is Donald zinkoff. On page 18 it talks about how donald never wanted to write his name so the teacher made him try to write his name as good as he could and she would print it out and so he could trace it but he never did.
So the teacher told him how important his name is and how it represents him kind of like a substitute.The teacher needed his name on page 11 because she needed to put Donald giraffe hat away and she never had his name on the cobbe holes.When Donald went to recess he was expecting something new and it was all the same so he went running back into the school all disappointed.
what happen through pages 11-20. Is Donald got yelled at because he was wearing his hat and then.
The teacher thought he was going to be a bad child but he was a really good child he was calling her ma’ma and being really nice and once she took the hat away, she thought he was going to be bad but he was’int. And then the teacher gave her speech like she did every year and ,then she said were going to learn how , to spell are names .
Miss Meeks class is called “young citizens’ ‘ Cause she thought that the classes were mostly treated like babies. Miss Meeks calculates the number of days that you’re required to attend and the number of years you go to schools. Zinkoff was arriving 1st grade and he learned his letters, some of them at least he was also staring at the blue lines of his paper and he felt a thrill and his own hand he thought he was being born again. Zinkoff rushed to the teacher and he intensely gave the teacher his paper and said “look it’s me. ” The teacher spelled Zinkoffs name out so he could copy it. But she did not want to make Zinkoff sad because the teacher has done it for all students.
Zinkoff(Donald)gave over his hat on page 10, and then the teacher told him to go back to his seat and brought the 3-foot giraffe to his cubbie.The teacher almost started to laugh out loud when she heard his name,and she knew how rude that was after 30 years of teaching.The teachers name is Mrs.Meeksshe says good morning like she usually does,then she sees DonaldZinkoff sitting there like the most innocent child you could ever think of.We’ve finally moved on to school and now we’re doing math,but time went by really fast and they have only learned all the days of school,and so now there trying to write their names and Donald shoves the paper in Mrs.Meeks face and said,”look! it’s me!”Mrs.Meeks didn’t know what it said and she couldn’t read it.At eggsacly 10:00a.m Donald bursted out the recess doors, all he saw was first-second,and third grade it ment life to him but only shorter.It was only 15 minutes.Also he takes his giraffe hat back.

When Donald got his hat back from his cobbie,a kid said,”Look it’s him, the kid with the hat!”In seconds there were first-second,and third grade surrounded him and one kid snatched his hat.The hat was going head to head, then a fourth grader with red hair came and instead of wearing it,he stuck his hand in there like a puppet.and opened the mouth clenched his friends nose every one laughed even the teachers,he said,”who does this belong to?” Donald ran up there and tripped and fell right on his face.Every one laughed even Donald,Donald said”that is my hat!”he said,”no it’s my hat.”so the red headed boy dropped it and stepped on it and left.When he got home he told his mom all about his day and he got a star, and when he went to bed his mom always told him to sing his praises.
What I noticed threw pages 31-40 I realized on page 40 Zinkoff got yelled at by his new friend Andrew because he dropped his cookie. Zinkoff has made 2 friends. One was Andrew’s baby sister and the second one was Andrew. On page 36-37 Zinkoff was trying to make a warm welcome and told Cherise (Andrews mother) to tell Andrew that Zinkoffs father was a mailman, Cause Zinkoff thinks carrying the mail is the most interesting job. On page 37 Zinkoff tried to make a cake but Zinkoff’s mom said no and that’s where Zinkoff made the huge cookie that was rectangular and it was the whole pan. Zinkoff was trying and he made a mess in the kitchen because he did not let his mother help at all. During the school times on page 33 Zinkoff walks to school by himself on Saturday and his parents can’t find him. His parents start worrying. Until they finally found him when Zinkoff thought that he was early cause nobody was there.
In page 21 at the beginning they recognize Zinkoff by his hat and they grab it from his head and they start running.In page 22 a 4th grader grab Zinkoff hat and Zinkoff said that’s my hat and the 4th grader kid was at the zoo the same day as Zinkoff.In page 23 another 4th grader said that the 1st grader were dumb.In page 24 they step on Zinkoff giraffe hat.In page 25 Zinkoff is excided his that buy use cars because they can’t afford a car.In page 26 Zinkoff and he’s mom call ther car clunker four.In page 27 he talk to god and the stars about his day and other thing is that don’t see any difference about the stars and he’s mom plastic baggie star..
in loser, Donald was laughing at school.So he got a button Mrs. Meeks said what dose the button say its says i know i can behave and Donald didn’t laugh he got the button every time he laughed. Then one day Mrs. Meeks left for a while, and then when she came back Donald said”i laughed when you where gone.”Then she realized Donald didn’t think of it like a punishment.
Now Donald is going in to summer break,and he got knew neighbors so Donald made a cookie for the kid next door but he dropped it then his dad came home,and Donald puked in his sack full of mail.
what we read through page 50-60.Is that zinkoff made it to 2nd grade and his teacher hated children she did int know why she became a teacher.She was really annoyed by zinkoff because he ask the same question every day “how many more days of school do we have left”, Then when she left zinkoff was writing on her chalk board and she had her really special eraser which she saved her own money for it and when she walked.In she said “Stop” then zinkoff garbed the eraser than she screamed “stop stop stop! ” than he drop’t the eraser and puke all over it than she said “get out and dont ever come back!”
Zinkoff asks how many days of school are left until 12th grade he is in second grade, the teacher Mrs.Biswell she thought that was the most annoyingest thing she has ever heard.Donald thought school never ended because he loves school but now he’s try to learn how to write.Donald is a great kid he raise his hand to volunteer ask a question or answer a question.people say he is a rare blood type or a rare personality.
What we read through 41-60 is zinkoff is now in 2nd grade. He got yelled at by the teacher and the teacher got in trouble for saying “get out of my room and never come back” But mostly what i’m thinking is that zinkoff is taking everything as a joke. Zinkoff plays socker and he is on the Titans team. When the other team was saying good game Zinkoff was the only one who said good game back. Zinkoff got so angry at the end of the game when they were heading back to go to the parents. Zinkoff took baby Polly’s pasifire and baby Polly was crying and by now Zinkoff was having a full on out tantrum. Zinkoff was screaming out loud “No! No! No!” And Zinkoff now lost his daily allowance because he was acting too crazy. Apparently he was acting to be mad. Zinkoff was practicing on getting angry. And Zinkoff won a trophy and showed it to Andrew and Andrew got jealous. And he tried getting the trophy when his mom was pulling him back.
On page 69 I think the conflict is Zinkoff that wrote a letter to a kid and he said “This ain’t no letter and rips the paper in half. On page 54 Andrew wants to volunteer to help Zinkoff with his handwriting. After a week his handwriting is worse so that means that Andrew is fired. I picked these problems because Zinkoff’s dad could write the letter and Zinkoff could deliver it to people. And the teacher could ask if they’re good at handwriting or not.
Now Zinkoff is in second grade.In page 52 the kids know that Zinkoff can laugh very easily.In page 53 they said that he writes very bad.In page 54 Zinkoff stills writes bad.In page 55 the teacher say how annoying is Zinkoff.In page 56 Zinkoff is not considered brilliant because he don’t have good notes.In page 58 Zinkoff is kicked from school.In page 60 Zinkoff Father take Zinkoff to job now because Zinkoff don’t go to school no more
On page 80 Zinkoff hates sleeping and Zinkoff’s parents told him what time he goes to bed, Zinkoff said nine o’clock, so he didn’t sleep but he went to bed at nine o’clock. On page 83 Zinkoff “Give himself a test. Also on page 90 Zinkoff was not scared of the dark at all.
