Character Development December

He is very sad in the first part of the story because his uncle Owen past away. David is a risk taker because he went out on the ocean all by himself just to do what his uncle had told him
So that shows me he must really love his uncle.
The voyage of the frog is an awesome book because it has ( gets) in so much details. owen david’s uncle has died and if you are wondering what dose frog mean it is a sailboat. I recommend You should read this book.
David’s personality has changed because in the beginning of the voyage of the frog David was sad because he found a box and on page 1 it said that he was trying not to cry. David was also upset because his uncle Owen was about to die because he had cancer and on page 3 Owen said on Monday morning he knew he was going to die soon because of the cancer. Owen had went to the hospital and David came to visit Owen at the hospital and on page 4 David had went to go see his uncle and in the room Owen was in they had a tube in Owens spine and the room smelt like pee because the tube that was in Owen it helped him from peeing. On page 4 David had thrown up in the Owens room because it smelt like pee and it made David uncomfortable and made David throw up.
If you want to look up a book from Gary Paulsen then read The Voyage of the Frog. David saw his Uncle dead. Owen wants to go to a place that is so far away from California. It was also Owen’s last trip. Also David has an animal that he brought to the boat ride. In 1945 David was nice and had an animal to join him. When David saw Owen he laughed but something was only laughing not Owen was laughing. Find out who was laughing.
The two important problems that David is facing is there is a storm happening and he doesn’t know that the storm is coming because his radio isn’t working. David is also facing that he has no food or water on the frog and he is having to drink the ocean water and he read that if you drink the ocean water it can lead to insane and dying horribly. I know this because on page 52 for David drinking the ocean water it says that he is drinking the ocean water and on page 37 for the storm happening it says that David is facing a terrible storm on the ocean and it hit the frog and cracked the frog. David’s personality in two words is one a good person and brave the reason he his a good person is because he is doing his grandpa a favor by pouring his ashes in the place his uncle wanted them to be and the reason he is brave is because he is taking a big storm right now and he is also being brave by facing all that is happening with him.
#1.I think David’s biggest problems are when he is in the boat and a storm came and he hurt his
head. His other problem is when he is in the middle of know where and is very far from home.

He had to pump thirty two hundred times a hundred minutes would be three thousand pumps of water in the cabin. There were no flares and the tanker kept on moving. David hated the sea and hurt him, hated the wind that didn’t come so he could sail home etc. In 1944 David was kind and mad. David found something that says The Voyage of the Frog. David is still hopeful for surviving because on page 77 it says that Owen has a lot of tools that will help him fix the frog and another reason why he has hope still is because on page 80 it says at the very bottom of the page he feels good about the frog. The two bad thing that Owen is facing right now is on page 69 it says that he has a cut on his forehead and another bad thing that he is going threw is that the frog is falling apart and he is having to fix it the reason the frog is falling apart is because of a shark that attacked the frog.The two words I can explain Davids personality is hungry because on page 71 it says David is really hungry and is hoping he can get to shore soon. Another personality of David is tired because he has been working all day long. I can show this information because on page 77 he is fixing the frog and that is hard cause you don’t get a break.
I think David won’t survive because on page 87 I read that the rails and the boom were knocked over in the water and another reason I think David won’t survive because on page 88 I read that the abrupt snapped and the wave pressure turned the bow-on so I think David won’t survive.I think David still has hope but I think he lost hope because he has no water, food, the frog was falling apart so I think David lost hope I have evidence to support my reasons why I think he lost hope.On page 87 like I said in the beginning he found the boom and the rails were knocked off and also David was on the ocean a shark attacked the bout. The two important problems David is going through right now is that the batteries on the frog were out so David couldn’t see anything on the frog I can prove my evidence because on page 90 in the beginning you can read and it would say the batteries on the frog went out. Another problem David is going through is that David is waving a candle to get people’s attention so they can go help him and take him home back to land on page 91 at the very bottom of the page you can see that he was waving a candle around. This book is good so far Davids personality changed so many times because at first he thought he was going to be okay but now he is freaking out because the power on the frog went out and a shark attacked the frog.

At the end of the book of voyage of the frog David was finally saved!!!!! David was finally saved for like a while. On page 138 David was saved in the middle of the page. It says “That was it,then he was done, he was saved.” In the book I was not expecting for David to be saved I thought he was going to be stranded in the ocean for awhile.On page 139 kind of at the beginning he started to think about memories on the frog with his uncle Owen he also asked what they were going to do with the frog. The author included details he made it more interesting. He also made it feel like we were there. The things that the author didn’t have in his book was that he kind of didn’t express how David was feeling and if he missed his parents or not.
The main character has experienced and how they have changed as a result of those experiences is at the end David does not want to leave the boat because the frog was still here and he doesn’t want to leave the frog and the boat so David said no in page 141. The life lesson does the author want you to learn that you could apply to my life is to be ready for anything when you are riding a boat.
The main character in my book Voyage of the frog has experienced a lot of bad things, it has changed a result of the experience of going on a boat. The author’s life lesson that he wants you to learn is to always be prepared before going on a bout. On page 70 it talks about how David is hungry,thirsty.So one life lesson that the author wants you to is to always be prepared before going anywhere. Another life lesson that the author wants you to know is that you should know how to use,work a boat because on page 88 it says that the abrupt snapped. But that is another lesson that the author wants you to know. And this helps with your life because these are actually real situations that people go through on the ocean, so the authors want you to know to always know how to work a boat and to always make sure you are always prepared before going anywhere.
